This year’s program has something for everyone. Rail enthusiasts can ride the Historic Tin Hare Shuttles, check out the Model Railway Exhibition, and see Junee from a different angle on the Leeton Lions Train. Live music and entertainment is aplenty with an action packed program featuring Polar Groove Club, Royal Orleans, Jack Thompson, Jess Crossman and more on the Main Stage.
It’ll be a feast for the eyes with the Junee Motor Club Show & Shine and Motorcycle Display, as well as the “You, me and Junee!” Photographic Exhibition. Shop for handmade local products at the Rhythm n Rail Markets, let the kids loose in the Kids Zone, and stop for a bite to eat in Broadway.
“After great consideration and consultation with both Junee Shire Council, Junee Business and Trades and our major sponsors, the committee has made some pivotal changes this year to ensure the festival is financially stable and able to deliver a high quality visitor experience to our patrons,” he said.
Neil went on to say that “Following the success of the recent Christmas on Broadway event, the festival committee has decided that Broadway is the ideal location for the 2015 Rhythm n Rail Festival. This new festival hub will feature a fantastic program of live entertainment and activities for the whole family between 10.00am and 8.00pm on Saturday 7th March.”
“Tickets to access this festival precinct can be purchased on the day with $10 entry price for adults. We will also have $5 children’s wristbands available, which will provide the kids with unlimited access to the amusements throughout the day. There will also be a family pass available for $25. Great value for families! On Sunday 8th March, entry to the festival precinct will be free of charge so that visitors have the opportunity to browse the markets at no cost,” Neil said.
