The Omnibus Preservation Society was fortunate enough to be invited by the Junee Shire Council to operate shuttles between Junee’s major tourist attractions for their annual Rhythm n Rail Festival.

This was also a very rare opportunity for not only the people of Junee, but also for the people from surrounding towns in the Riverina, as for many, this was their first ever encounter with a double decker bus and the reception was phenomninal as we carried a full load of passengers every trip.

1016 operated in conjunction with the Lachlan Valley Railway’s CPH rail motors which operated between Wagga, Junee and Cootamundra over the course of the weekend.
